Swim Meet @ ABC Races - 20 November 2012

Under 11 Girls Basketball Tournament (Cont.)

Tournament Rules and Information:

- All matches will consist of 2 x 5 minute halves which will be running time

- There will be a one minute halftime

- Each team is allowed one thirty second halftime timeout each half

- Subs must go through the scorekeeper/timekeeper and must only occur at stoppages

- Please ensure you are on time and ready for your matches as we will need to stick to a tight schedule

- We will provide water but please ensure your players bring a drink bottle, we will provide some fruit but it would be a good idea if your players brought some healthy snacks as well

- Points will be structured as follows: Win- 3 Points, Draw- 2 Points, Loss- 1 Point

- If at the end of pool play two teams are tied on the same points we will look at the points differential. If this is also tied we will go with who won the match contested between the two teams. If this is still a draw we will toss a coin to decide the placing. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the semi-finals.

- If scores are tied in the semi-finals or finals we will play a one off 5 minute period of extra time.

- The final will be followed by a short presentation to the winners

- The aim of the tournament is to have fun and a chance to play against other schools form around the area.
